The existence of the thing in itself namely the world independently of the mind and the problem associated with it, has always been one of the most important of philosophy's problems. In the history of philosophical thoughts many philosophers believed that the thing in itself is unreal. Kant considers it from another point of view. He says although the objects of our consciousness is just the phenomena or appearances but it should be something that appears "otherwise we should be landed in the absurd conclusion that there can be an appearance without anything that appears" so the thing in itself is necessary for our consciousness as the experience is the product of both, the thing in itself and the understanding. Fichte, On the other hand, explicitly denies the thing in itself and argues that Kant agrees with him because Kant believes that consciousness depends on "transcendental I or original apperception". The author tries to prove that Fichte overtakes Kant in this issue despite continuing his path
